Hi,
One of our customer wants to use D365F&O (cloud ) and connect to on prem applications like SQL , IBM HQ that are hosted in customer's local network. They are planning to use express route. In that case can F&O directly communicate to the on prem applications using Azure logic app ? Or do we need a data gate way?
Is there any other way to connect to F&O and the on prem applications?

Can you provide the business scenario what they want to achieve? You provide some technical details, but what is the requirement about?

The customer wants a dedicated high speed secured connection to get some sensitive data from on prem SQL and push it to D365F&O and vice versa. So trying to understand can this be achieved using express route.
I have no experience with Express Route. The documentation states that almost all Azure services can be connected. I understood that at least Dataverse is possible. When Dynamics 365 F&O itself might not work correctly, you can try to setup virtual tables and then use the Dataverse service endpoint. For sure, you will not have direct access to the F&O database, so you would probably need OData or custom webservices.
