How can AL code in Visual Studio Code be debugged in the Business Central app instead of a browser?

An AL app works differently in the Business Central app (downloaded from Microsoft Store) than it does in the internet browser. I need to debug in the Microsoft Store Business Central app to test it. However, Visual Studio Code launches the browser when debugging. How can I debug in the Microsoft Store Business Central app instead?

Do you mean that you want to debug a Business Central app downloaded from AppSource? Is this a third-party app of a your app?

First: you cannot debug in a production environment, but only on a sandbox.

Second: if the app comes from AppSource, you can debug it only if ShowMyCode is set to true in app.json file from who creates the app.

No, it's my own app. However, I don't want to debug it in the browser, but the official Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central app, which is downloaded from the Microsoft Store > Apps: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/microsoft-dynamics-365-business-central/9nblggh4ql79?cid=msft_web_chart&activetab=pivot:overviewtab

Debugging is not done in the browser, it’s always performed by using Visual Studio Code connected to the sandbox environment (whee the extension to debug must be installed).

When you debug through Visual Studio Code, it opens the sandbox environment in the browser. What I'm trying to do is have it open the sandbox in the Microsoft Store app instead and debug through Visual Studio Code while using it.

No, debugging is always performed by using the browser session for UI interaction and VS Code as development tool for the debugging session.
