Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) : inaccurate amounts.

Hi,

Our Customer is experiencing inaccurate amounts from MRP.

Supposing this is not resulting from a Microsoft bug, what would be the main steps to take to get accurate results with MRP ?

    You need to give some information of what data sources, configuration etc. and why you think the output is wrong.

    BOM errors? UoM conversion errors? Item or coverage  parameters?

    Positive days field blank or zero? (If so then inventory on hand will be ignored)

    What do the action/ future messages show?

    Look at the Explanation tab (configure it to show additional information)

    Hi blg,

    Please provide some additional information. and why you think its generating incorrect orders? Show an example from NET requirements form for one of the parts. There could be multiple reasons to make you think its generating incorrect numbers. Have you looked at action messages?
