Started getting this in the Exchange Rate Infolog. 'An exchange rate could not be found for ISO currency codes GBP and GBP, on the following date:' then a total of x rates have been imported. This is leaving about 15 rates not being imported. I checked the XML coming back from the provider and things are correct in the file.
Why would we be receiving GBP - GBP. initially I thought someone created an invalid exchange rate but AX ill not allow that.
The option to create necessary pairs is locked down and I cannot check that. Dont think it would resolve the issue on the GBP-GBP error. What does it take to check that box?

Hi Syed,
I found the issue, After some digging around the USD currency was using the GBP currency code. Someone changed this. After setting back to USD all is good with exchange rates.
AX was sending from GBP to GBP exchange rates request to provider and failing with that error.
When you go to General Ledger > Setup > Currencies > Currency Exchange rates, you will need to select "Exchange rate type" from the dropdown list on the top of the dialog box. Once you select Average/Budget etc, then you will be able to create an exchange rate pair.
Let me know if this resolves your query.
