WAX Close container delivery note Read only

Hey chaps

My container closing profile has the Delivery note ticked, BUT when I close the container, my delivery note posting form has the Print option unticked, and all the other options are ready only (including 'Deliver now'). The form hasn't been modified per-say, though there is an integration to Metapack which produces the carrier label at the same time - anyone else come across this? I tried to run the delivery note directly from the shipment, but again, everything is read only and the Print option is unticked (annoying in itself)Delivery-Note-from-Pack.JPG

    As I understand, the 'Quantity' parameter being set to 'Deliver now' does not actually mean AX is posting the 'Deliver now' quantity. 'Deliver now' happens to be the first value in the list of values in that field and that is just what AX shows.

    The reason that the Quantity field is read only is that AX does not want you to be able to use the Delivery note posting form to determine what quantity to post on the Delivery note. AX will work that out for you, based on what has been delivered on the Shipment/Load.

    I don't know why 'Posting' is read-only; I guess the functionality in this area does not support proforma delivery notes at this time.

    I imagine that AX will remember if you tick the 'Print delivery note' tick box, so you don't have to tick it every time. If it doesn't, you might have a modification, or you might have grounds to run that past Microsoft support.

    Thanks Guy. The tick wasn't retained when I ticked the 'Print delivery note' tick box. I have passed it on to be reported to Microsoft.
