Hello,

We are moving our forms from Hubspot to Dynamics and I was wondering if there is an easy way to export the form and import it to Marketing Dynamics.

Also, can I create a contact and opportunity using the marketing Forms?

Thank you,

Elly

    Hi Elly,

    1. an easy way to export the form and import it to Marketing Dynamics.

    Do you mean you want to export contact records from Hubspot and import it into Dynamics Marketing?

    If so, you could export a excel template from Dynamics Marketing, then copy and paste your records from Hubspot exported excel to the template.

    2. can I create a contact and opportunity using the marketing Forms?

    Yes, you can create contact from marketing form, and you can trigger a workflow to create an opportunity and associate it to new contact who is created from marketing form.

    Regards,

    Clofly

    Hello Clofy,

    Thank you for your reply,

    I need to import the form itself,

    We have many form like registration forms, Event forms, Subscription and many more.

    now I am required to move all of them to Dynamics Marketing since we decided to retire Hubspot.

    Is there a way to acheive that?

    Many Thanks regarding the solution for creating opportunity :)

    Many Thanks,

    Elly

    Hi Elly,

    Due to Dynamics Marketing has its own back-end program to process submitted data from marketing form,(I thought it's should be same for Hubspot)

    currently we could only build native marketing form with Dynamics Marketing integrated designer.

    But you can embed Hubspot forms on a web page(e.g: on Portal) and let Dynamics Marketing scan these fields and map them to contact's corresponding fields by adding some necessary attributes to these fields.

    "In a word, we couldn't convert other forms as Dynamics Marketing native form;

    but we can use Form Capture feature to make forms from other platform work."

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/embed-forms#use-form-capture-to-integrate-a-form-created-externally

    In addition, if your Hubspot form was just consisted of some text fields(e.g firstname, emailaddress, comment), checkbox or single-option drop-down list,

    then the feature would work well;

    if your form had some complex data to submit, then you might need to create a same native marketing form again manually.

    Comparison between native form and captured form:

    Regards,
