How to get Opportunityproduct by quotedetail?

I am a newbie in the MS Dynamics CRM plugin-development and I should develop a plugin that change the businnes logic of CRM.

I have the QuoteDetail-entity and I want to find the OppoptunityProduct from which was this QuoteDetail generated.

It is possible? I have not found any possibility to do this.

    I don't believe there is any direct way to determine this. As an example, in the Quote Product  table there aren't fields that link back to the id of the Opportunity Product line it might have been created from. Obviously if you are creating a Quote from an Opportunity, you know which Opportunity, but you may have to do a multi-field comparison on the line items to determine which is  the source.

    Something you could do it create a new attribute on opportunity & quote (and order and invoice if needed) product,and assign it some sort of unique identifier when the record is created. Then create a mapping for the custom value between the product lines. That way if the other data like price, quantity, etc.. change you still have a way back to the original line. 

    You'll also notice creating mappings for the line items isn't exposed through the CRM UI, I've actually created a tool to expose these so you can create the mappings. http://crm2011entitymaps.codeplex.com/
