Hi All,

In Past we had developed a custom application for MS CRM 4.0 for this we had used;

i. abc/.../CrmService.asmx

ii. abc/.../MetadataService.asmx

Few months back we migrated the from CRM 4.0 to CRM 2013. Thus, we updated the custom application code as per new SDK.

The application worked as expected and got deployed and used in Production environment.

Last week client migrated from CRM 2013 to CRM 2015. But now the custom application is not working. When we check exception details we get error message 'The file '/MSCRMServices/2007/MetadataService.asmx' does not exist.'

Is it that MS CRM 2015 doesnot support MetaService.asmx ? bcoz when we check the service url for CRM 2015 they show.

i. 'crm2015/.../Discovery.svc

ii. 'crm2015/.../Organization.svc'

That is now they are WCF services.

thanks in advance

    Hi Shoab,

    The /2007/ endpoints aren't supported, you need to use the discovery and organization services to interact with CRM. Here are some details on getting started with the org service:

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg328198.aspx

    Hope this helps, if so I would appreciate if you would mark this as the verified answer.

    Thanks,

     Aiden

    The MetaData service is now a part of OrganizationData.svc and can be accessed by appending /$metadata at the end

    https://<server name>/<org name>XRMServices/2011/OrganizationData.svc/$metadata
