POP Over Receipt Tolerance - Voiding receipt reduces allowable receipts per line item

Posted on by 20

We have installed the add-on "POP Over-Receipt Tolerance" on GP 2010R2 and have discovered that when we void a receipt then try to receive again, the tolerance count adds the count from the voided receipt to the total allowable receipts for that item.

Deleting the receipt does not have this affect.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Maureen, voiding a receipt does not alter the received quantity on a PO.  If you want to restore the quantity that should not have been received, you need to use a PO Returns Transaction and check the 'Replace Returned Goods' box.  Alternatively, you could void the receipt and then manually change the PO quantity to allow for the additional goods to be received.

    Hope this helps,
