An EFT batch was posted, then one of the payments was voided and recreated using the same batch name, but posted at different times. When trying to generate the EFT File, the one batch ID was checked and the Generate EFT File button was pushed. A message appeared stating "The Transaction File has been generated with 0 transactions and is in the following location: Review the file and transmit to your financial institution to complete the transfer." There is a file location set for the EFT information. The only way the file could be generated for these payments was to void all of them and recreate under a different batch ID than before. In the Generate EFT File window, both batch IDs were listed, one that would not generate the file and the next one that did generate the file. How do you delete the batch that generated with 0 transactions from this window? After generating the file, the batch ID is still listed in the window, even after logging out and back in.

I have the same question (0)Good question!
Whenever I was in this predicament, I cheated and deleted the bad EFT batch from the SQL tables. The tables involved are CM20202 (checkbook transaction electronic funds transfer) for the line items and CM20203 (Checkbook eft transaction batch) for the EFT batch header.
Kind regards,
