Email subject - CRM number in title

I have tried sending myself an email from CRM to test the format.  The received email has an identifying number (CRM:0004003) which appears after the title which I had typed.  I don't want clients to see this when I send out a mailshot.  Is it possible to switch this off?  What does the number relate to?

Thanks for any help!

Go the the system settings screen and click on the E-Mail tab.  Uncheck "Use Tracking Token".  That should remove the token from the subject line.  I believe the tracking token is use primarily by the email router when it processes incoming messages for auto-tracking purposes.
