Work flow notifications for Work Item queues in D365

Hi All,

Can any one answer why do we not get the workflow E-mail notifications in D365 when an Work Item queue is used on the workflow.
For Ex:- I have created a work item queue and associated 5 users to that Work item queue.

now I setup a condition in the PR/PO WF in such a way that when the WF meets a specific condition pus the Work item to the queue.
Now, I want to send the e-mail notifications for all the people who are assigned to that queue when the PR/PO is assigned to that queue.
So the question is how could they be notified that a specific workflow item is awaiting for their action besides verifying in the Work items assigned to my queue?

    Hi

Please check your user options. There is a specific workflow notification parameter that needs to be turned on.

    Best regards

    Hi Gurunath.

Because queue's are a dynamic assignment there is not direct link to the users who can approve, the approvers can increase or decrease without anything changing on the workflow. There is simply an implied criteria link, whereas for normal work items a direct link to a user is created. If you would like to notify the users you would likely need to write some custom code to notify the members of a queue at the time that the queue is assigned, remembering that this could change with not specific trigger that would notify the new users.

The trigger could be build (in 2012) in the class SysWorkflowWorkitem - Create (method)
