MPOS - Product Kit Summary Screen

First some description:

We are using product kits instead of linked items to sell products which are always sold together because on the customer receipt we just want one item appearing (rather than 2 or more that would appear if linking items).

For example:

2 Items such as A) Loaf of Bread (Physical stocked Item) B) Slice Service (Service Item)

If we link the loaf of bread to the slice service, they both appear on the receipt (which we want to avoid)

So we create a kit which is called "Sliced Loaf of Bread" and add both A and B to the kit.

The question:

Is there any way to bypass the summary screen that is brought up every time you scan a Product Kit as these are very fast moving items and this additional screen is a headache?

    Hello Nikborg, can you please explain in a bit of detail exactly what steps you performed to skip Kit summary form on POS. How did you link Kit barcode with button?

    We have found a workaround through using "buttons" on the POS. We link the button to the barcode of the kit configuration and in doing so it skips the summary screen.

    Hi,

    Could you, please, show a screenshot of the screen you see?

    I do not have demo data to quickly test, can only check in POS code - if any way to avoid this screen exists (but for this good to know how this page looks like :) )

    Hello,

    Standard POS does not allow to avoid summary form for product kits. If you will not find a way how to customize that and in case you consider that this would be a feature nice to have in the system in the future and expand the current necessities, please enter this as a product suggestion at experience.dynamics.com/.../. Then we will collect votes and see how many customers need the proposed behavior in the system.
