    Hi Ahmed,

Can you tell if you have installed other ISV, vendor or custom solutions? On what machine are you doing the compilation? If you are compiling on a client machine, also try the compilation on the AOS server directly (or vice versa) as it might have references to dlls which are not on one of the two machines (or none of them).

What do you mean by ISV?

I am doing it on dev machine that is solely used for development and doing new customizations

I have placed full compilation of the AOT

lets hope what issue I get

    Thanks for the help

    Hi Ahmed,

ISV stands for Independent Software Vendor. They create add-ons for Dynamics products.

Does the AX AOS service resides on the same machine as the "dev machine" you are mentioning?

    No other ISV installed.

yess they both reside on the same machine

If you do a full x++ compilation, you might get the details of missing references in the log.

    Ahmed,

This sometimes happens to me too when having my client open and being idle for a long period of time.

    Solution 1:

9 out of 10 times it will be working after restarting your AOS and client. Also try to delete your .AUC files in your app data folder.

    Solution 2:

XPP compilation, check log. If everything compiled OK do a full CIL.

Hi, I faced same issue on dev environment. Kindly close all instance of ax on your machine and then reopen dev environment. Hopes, problem removes.

    Hi Ahmed,

When you said 'Increamental isnt working', what error message did you get?
