Parameter setting for AVL warning message

I am looking for the system-wide parameter setting that will allow me to disable to AVL check process for items.  I know this can be disabled or changed on the released product.  However, I am searching for a system-wide setting.

    Found the Approved Vendor Check Method setting in Item Model Groups.  Inv Mgmt > Setup > Inventory > Item Model Groups.
