Building reports via Report Builder 3.0 based on Data Audit

Hello,
Can anybody please suggest a way , to build a report based on Crm Audit View? Unsupported or not I would be interested to know how is it possible to report on audits because there is no FilteredAudit and as far as I understand the Crm does not apply priveleges to the user who tires to query an Unfiltered View via a Report residing in the CRM instance hence there is  no data returned.

CRM won't provide any security for the audit tables

You should be able to create an SSRS report using an SQL query but this wouldn't have any security around it. You could maybe run the report using a user who has database permissions to view this table.

This forum post explains about the audit tables

and someone has written an audit log report here in SSRS

OK, i reviewed both of those articles long before i decided to post something in here and maybe I am not getting them the right way but none of them help me much. Now, here is my scenario.

I am building the report via Report Builder 3.0 on Audits, apparently my active directory permissions allow me to access to the Audit view because this is what i am using to connect to my data source in Report Builder properties. As a result when I run the report on audits via report builder, it works fine i,e. the expected output is there

Ok here is what I am trying to achieve I am uploading the Report (the file that works fine if ran directly via report builder) in my local on premises CRM installation and then I am trying to run it from there, but.... there is no output. Question, what would be the possible causes of this?

    Thanks for your reply

Can you please try these 2 things?

    1) Can you please use a set user and use your 'domain/admin' user to set this.

    If this doesn't work

    2) provide crm access to the user under which report server is running( usually it will be 'nt authority' (this is not supported way).

    Regards,
