if you mean a tablet, then yes. for mobile devices MS provides the dynamics nav tablet client or now universal mobile app. there are some third party apps for Nav available.

What are the issues, that you are facing with Tableau.?

Are you directly connecting NAV SQL Database for the live visualization reporting or using data warehousing (separate SQL Database) for the reporting and periodically replicating the data from NAV SQL DB to warehousing database.

Hi Vishal I use Tableau to connect directly to NAV SQL Database , I do not connect to the warehouse , I am only comparing the values that I get in my visualization in Tableau to the values in the warehouse to see if I am doing things correct when extracting the data from NAV that is all.

So the tables I want to join is Customer , Sales invoice line , sales Cr_memo line and Value entry . How would I join the 4 tables. well my first approach was to join the customer table to the sales invoice line and sales cr_memo line. and then join the sales invoice line and sales cr_memo line to the value entry table , so that I can get the correct data from Nav into tableau. hope I am joining the tables correct , Vishal what do u suggest

These are correct tables to get the desired result related to sales reportign.

Customer No. would be available in Sales Invoice Line & Sales Cr. Memo Line as "Bill-to Customer No."

Further Sales Invoice Line & Sales Cr. Memo Line "Document No." would be available in Value Entry Table.

Let me know, if you need any further details.
