Hi there, we have set up "Advance Bank reconciliation", sometime the bank has to reverse one of the transaction, which previously recorded in an earlier bank statement.   how can I 'reconile" these 2 transactions, which are meant to cancel each other, but they are on different bank statement(s)

Thanks in advance

    Hello Agnes Lee,

Are you working with AX2012 or D365FO?

How were you able to reverse the bank statement posted or did you reverse something else? Would be great if you could elaborate on that.

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

Thanks Dr Ludwig.  We are in D365 F&O, user is using the Reconciliation worksheet to check the imported bank statement transaction (appears at the left hand side) and the bank transactions in Operations (at right hand side).  And my question is related to the bank transaction at the left hand side.  I know that there is an auto bank rec action called "Clear reversal statement lines", but user is not comfortable to turn on that rule.  And I don't think we can use this rule anyway, cause the "reverse" bank transaction does not have the same reference no used in the original bank transaction.  The only thing we can tell it is a reverse bank transaction is by the amount (a negative amount with the exact value of the original bank transaction).  All I want to know, is there a way that I can manually mark the 2 identified bank transactions, as "reconcile", so they will not appear on the reconciliation worksheet anymore
