Hiding a field in CRM 2011

Hi, I want to be able to hide some commercially sensitive fields from some junior users on the Opportunity record in CRM v2011.

I have created a Field Security Role, added the fields to it and also the test users. I have confirmed that the fields are hidden.
However, the user can still see the fields on Advanced Find, which isn't good. I have set the field Searchable attribute to 'No' as the entity level but this hasn't changed this behaviour.
Is there a method of hiding fields from Advanced Find? Alternatively, could is there a way of me stopping the junior users from accessing Advanced Find completely?

    Hi all, scrub this, as I didn't test it properly :(

    You can add the field using Advanced Find, even if it is defined as Read = 'No' in a Field Security Profile. However, the values won't show!

    This, combined with Role Based forms, will allow me to manage the commercially sensitive data/fields that I need to.
