Hi Experts,

Today I have installed D365FO VM using Hyper-V. When I run AdminUserProvisioning using my Office365 account getting error "The remote server returned an error(500). Internal Server Error."

Through searching with error reference I also update expired Certificate in Web.config, Wif.config and Wif.service.config and restarted all service including IIS but error still persist.

Please advice me.

    Hey Faiz,

Check the time, date and timezone on the VM - if these are incorrect the certs are invalid.

    Hi Faiz,

What exact version of Dynamics 365 F&O is running on the VM? Have you tried getting a most recent version of the VM?

    Hi Faiz,

Is it the first 10.0 release? If so, I would suggest to download a 10.0.17 VM from LCS.

    Step 1: Create a new self-signed certificate

Run the following Power Shell command (Run as Administrator):

New-SelfSignedCertificate -CertStoreLocation cert:\LocalMachine\My -DnsName *.cloud.onebox.dynamics.com -KeyUsage EncipherOnly, CRLSign, CertSign, KeyAgreement, DataEncipherment, KeyEncipherment, NonRepudiation, DigitalSignature, DecipherOnly -NotAfter (Get-Date).AddMonths(60)

Step 2: Copy the new certificate to the folder where trusted certificates are stored

Open Manage computer certificates (certlm). Newly generated certificate can be found in Personal\Certificates folder. It has the same name as the old one, but different expiration date. Now copy and paste the new certificate to the Trusted Root Certification Authorities\Certificates folder.

    Regards,

    J Wick
