 one transaction  Not able to print/preview posted sales invoice , getting an error below

    What does the data relate to in the Sales invoice? the error suggests that you have data in that field that exceeds the 20 character limit.

    is it a customised field?

    Hi,

    Please check if there is any customization done, also you can try to debug when trying to print the invoice.

    For the city, the column is added more characters maybe this is an issue

    That will be your issue, to print this, reduce this value to 20 characters and ask your developer to investigate. Its likely they haven't expanded the fields in corresponding tables

    If you referring to Bill-to City or Sell-to City both the fields belongs to 30 Characters, may be you can check more.

    Your problem is definitely caused by some kind of customization, so you should have your developer debug the issue and correct it.

    Most likely the field is extended in the sales header table but not in the posted sales invoice table.
