Credit Card Duplicate batch error

We use the preferred acquirer built in credit card processing in RMS 2.0 sp2. I want to know how to recover from a QD(SP?) Duplicate settle error to avoid duplicate charges to customers. I am being told that after 10 days RMS will try to settle the transaction that my processor manually settled. The only transactions for this location that show in the settle utlities are legit and current. Is there a status code in the visa batch tables or transaction tables that would cause these to resettle after 10 days?

Do I need to delete these transactions out of the tables?

    Hi eho,

    RMS will not automatically try to resettle a QD batch. You will want to contact the processor and have the duplicate batch manually settled.

    To avoid duplicate batches in the future, you may want to reivew this blog post.
