Hello All,
In Business Alert, when i check the test mail i faced the error. How can i solved the issue..? If any one knows please advice...

I am not an email expert but it is asking you to install/run Outlook on the system and mark it as the default client. There are several good SQL books out that cover implementing SQL email you can reference.
I'm not sure why the end of that error message refers to Outlook. Business Alerts uses SQL Mail to send alerts. You need to setup SQL Mail with a default account it can use to send from.
Thanks every one for the reply. Finally i solved the issue, my SQL server is 2008 express edition.
Recently i checked the SQL server agent version compatibility, for your reference the link is mentioned below

I checked the business alert function in sql server 2008 r2 standard edition it works without any issue.
In the Sql server 2008 express edition, the sql server agent is not supported.
