Javascript alerts with Interactive Experience Forms

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi there!

I am new to this forum and relatively new to Dynamics CRM and I am looking to use my Javascript files with Interactive Experience forms. While I am able to add it to the form and trigger it based on the appropriate event, I am facing some issues which I am sure I can fix if I use the debugger but I am unable to find the javascript web resources when I use the browser debugger(F12) on IE, Firefox or Chrome. I wonder if any of you could help me with this...

Thanks!
Govind

No it's not ideal, but it might just get you where you need to be. You can always remove it again.

Thanks. I did search through that. It appears in regular forms(Main type) but it isn't showing up in the Interactive Form. I could try that debugger statement but that is not really ideal to test functionality is it? :(

Thanks for the reply. The same script works with a regular main form. So I don't think it is an issue of library. I will try though.

    Hi,

In Chrome you can search trough all loaded files using the debugger window. E.g. stackoverflow.com/.../chrome-devtools-search-all-javascript-files-in-website

Another option is to add a debugger statement in your script. Then you don't have to look for it when the function is executed.

I think there is some syntax error with Javascript library that's why it's not showing in F12.

Please refresh your form and click on View data to be sent to microsoft and find out where the script is incorrect.
