Can not Post Purchase Packing Slip

Hi all,

I created and confirmed a purchase order. When I created the product receipts, there was no error message and no warning. But the system did not create and post the packing slip. When I look at the items transactions, there is no transaction about packing slip. By the way, there is a record in PurchParmTable and ParmJobStatus field is Waiting.

In item model group post physical inventory checkbox is cleared.

What do I need to do for posting the packing slip?

Thanks in advance.

Sefa.

Can you check the Item Group(s) for the item(s) on the PO. Do you have an account setup for 'Purchase expenditure, un-invoiced'?

Yes, I checked the Item group and there is an account setup for 'Purchase expenditure, un-invoiced'.

    HI Sefa,

Did you select the batch processing by accident? Then there might be a task pending in the Batch jobs. You can check the Batch jobs form.

    Hi Andre,

I don't think so. I removed the record on PurchParmTable and post the product receipt again.

This time it gave this error: "An error occurred during update"

Is it about generating full CIL ?

    Hi Sefa,

It can be related to the CIL compilation, but can you share a screenshot of this error?

    Hi Andre,

It relapsed previous situation. When I post the packing slip, there was no error. But no packing slip was created.

A different user who access AX with remote connection, created and posted the same packing slip successfully. This is really awkward.

I reset all usage data and removed all AUC files, but still can not post the packing slip.

What else do I have to check?

    Thanks

    Hi Sefa,

Is the AOS writing a message to the Application Log (within Event Viewer on the machine which the AOS is running on) at the time you attempt the Packing Slip posting?

Can you validate that it isn't a weird security issue? Try giving yourself the same rights as the user that successfully posted.

is this issue consistent in you environment or it is just one case?

is it happening for all Purchase Packing Slip posting or just one case?

    please provide more details.

I suggest you should consider debugging  the issue.
