How do I map Skill from Lead for Resource Scheduling?

Hello,

I enabled the Lead entity for resource scheduling using the steps described here:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/dynamics/crm-customer-center/scheduling-anything-in-dynamics-365-with-universal-resource-scheduling.aspx

I created the following 2 lookup fields in the Lead entity:

Territory (lookup to Territory)

Skill (lookup to Characteristic)

I can map Territory on the Booking Setup Metadata form. However, I do not see the Skill (Characteristic) field on this form for mapping. How do I do this?

I have attached the screenshot of Attribute Mapping.2337.Capture.PNG

PS: I was able to create a workflow to add a Skill (Resource Requirement Characteristic). So, this could be a workaround.

Thank you.

    Hi xRM_lago,

You cannot map new fields, you can only map the fields which is given to you on that form. The Attribute Mapping section is html and js and it is stored in the MicrosoftDynamicsScheduling solution which is managed. You could edit the JavaScript so that it did include the Characteristic Lookup, but I would not recommended it.

It seems that your work around will be fine if it works for you.
