The customer is on version 10.0 and the master numbers seems to be doubling once in awhile but not all the time. In January it happened for 3 sales documents.
Are you aware if this was a knowned issue and there was a fix for it?

Master numbers can get corrupted when more than one person is entering SOP orders and one person voids their order, setting the master number back to before the most current number. If this gap is less than 100 digits, no problem as it will look through the next 100 numbers for the first unassigned. If it cannot find an open Master Number, it takes the 101st number and uses it.
This is a known issue and should have been fixed in 2010. However, send me an email to rwhaley@accoladepublications.com and I will send you a script to fix the issue.
