Integrating AX with UPS WorldShip and Fedex ShipManager

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone have any tips for integrating AX with these two platforms. I understand there's a built in interface in AX to make the connection with the two. Are there any help documents online providing step by step instructions? Based on your experience, was it a complex integration?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello JackG,

    I am only aware of a AX2009 whitepaper available for download here: www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    For AX2012 systems I have not found a similar paper but only the following information

    HI Jack,

    I have some of my customers using the out of box integration with FedEx and UPS with AX 2012. It worked but there were enhancements needed to suit it specific to their needs.

    If you are using AX 2012 R3 then recommend to use the transportation module shipping interfaces.

    Rahul, I'm pretty much only looking to being able to write back the tracking numbers and shipping costs back into the Packing Slip Journal. I haven't really find any useful whitepapers on this apart from the link below only related to UPS WorldShip. If I'll have to I'll open a support case with Microsoft, but quite honestly I'm really surprised Microsoft did not provide any walk through's for this.
