Management Reporter Not Translating Correctly

Hi All,

I am generating a side by side "USD consolidated" report for few set of GP companies that has different functional currencies ( columns) like (CHF(swiss), GBP, HKD(hongkong) ) translated to "USD" in the consolidation report. I use a single Row Definition with multiple company dimension links. & reporting tree.

When the report is generated which ever column has the "Currency Display blank" it should be translating to "USD value" based on the exchange rate. For two company YTD column(ex; SWZ - CHF) MR is not translating to USD value for "some accounts/rows" . But for some rows MR is translating correctly see the below:

Exchange Rates are added in GP exchange table. But still MR is not translating for some account rows. Can anyone help us on the above. MR Version is latest CU 14 and GP2015

Hi,

Have you checked the account which doesn't convert has access to the all currency.

Hi Babu,

Yes. I verified the same in the account currency window see the below:

Also see the data in Account Currency Master (MC00200) table as well for the same account . Normally GP will have two records for any account. One with a Blank value marking CurrencyTranslation Type value 1 and for the Currency USD. In case of USD for the same account the Currency Translation Type is 0. Is this causing the issue?

Sorry,

I missed this somehow. Have you tried reconcile the financial and ran the report on MR. Also try to run checklink on financial series-all multicurrency. Please take a backup before doing this.

Hi,

Did you try reconcile as well as check link. Are you using datamart if so try to rebuild data mart. The following link post by GPUG detailing rebuild datamart.

I tried reconcile & check link and also rebuild the datamart as per the steps above. Still no luck.

Hi Showlik,

Go to Financial >> Setup >> Financial >> Multicurrency

Make sure currency translation default exchange table ID are setup for all the currency. Also, this needs to be done in all the companies.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all for inputs. I am using single row definition using mutiple dimension links Below is the portion of the row definition( its a huge image). In the below snapshot account highlighted in RED is not translating. And Account row highlited in Green is translating correctly

Also the Exchange table for this company - and a default table is defined and also rates.
