Not able to track/capture form fill details

Hello,

We have created a 'Marketing Website' under Marketing Module with the link of our company website home page to capture a form on our company home page.

We placed the 'Form Capture code' on our website. When we create a 'Marketing Form' in Marketing module to capture the details who submits the form, its only tracking the field names of form but its not capturing any details of the form fills or submissions.

Can anyone help why its not capturing the form submission details after submitting the form in Marketing Module.

Just to let know that our form on website is asynchronous if that might be the reason.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi BeyondKey,

    1. Have you ever pasted a previous script on your web page?(make sure that script on web page is completely new)

    2. Is your form built by some plugin?(some plugin might add extra attribute to generated form element, remove action attribute of form tag)

    3. keep only website-tracking script and form-capture script on you web page.

    4. Check whether there is failure submission record in Submission tab of Marketing form.

    Hello Clofly,

Yes, we had script on website earlier but we replaced it with new one. Our form on the website is simple with capturing few fields and with no plugin.  There is no failure submission record in Submission tab of Marketing form. I am stuck on how to capture the details of form fills.

    Hi BeyondKey,

Does the form tag have an action attribute?

    e.g <form action=“xxx” method=“post”>

    If so, remove them.

Also make sure that type of submit button equals to “submit”.

    Regards,

    Clofly

    Hello Clofly,

No, I could not find any form tag having action attribute. Also Input type is submit for Submit button.

    Hi BeyondKey,

Is version of your new script 1.60.1066.0?

My form capture also not works when I testing with this version.

I changed it back to 1.59.1039.0 then it worked again.

    <script src="mktdplp102cdn.azureedge.net/.../form-loader.js</script>

    Hello Clofly,

yes our new script is 1.60.1066.0. Our old script starts with1.58. Do you recommend trying with script 1.59.1039.0 if that worked for you ?

    Hi BeyondKey,

Yes, because newer version not works in my test.

I suggest you could try it. 1.59.1039.0 works for me.

1.58 would be also worthy if it was working for you before.

    Regards,

    Clofly

    Hello Clofly,

1.58 was not working earlier that's why we created new script and tried with that. Will try with 1.59 if that works for us. Will share the outcome woth you after testing it. Thank you
