Hi,
Bear with me - I'm not a NAV consultant, but have been called upon to troubleshoot why a client is unable to send invoices using Outlook. Their regular NAV consultant have drawn a blank...
They are using NAV2017 and Office 365 ProPlus on a windows 10 platform, and all is hosted in-house. Pretty standard I would imagine.
When trying to send the invoices the following error appears (translated from Danish, so it may not be 100% correct)
"Could not load type ‚Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.ApplicationClass.’Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word, Version=14.0.0.0,Culture=Neutral,PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c‘."
The Interop version 14 should be the Office 2010 version, and it is not present on the computer. Only Version 15.
I've tried installing the "Microsoft Office 2010: Primary Interop Assemblies Redistributable" (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3508), but the error is still present.
Looking at the GAC_MSIL folder I see the version 14 files are missig and only the version 15 files are present
c:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook\15.0.0.0__71e9bce111e9429c
Looking in the RoleTailored Client folder I see the interop files, but they are identical to the ones found in the GAC_MSIL folder (version 15).
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerly
Mikkel Andreasen
