Can we Change the Address format of Reports in NAV

Hello,

I am facing an issue where i do not need the Country Name to be displayed on the Report header part[Lets take Sales Invoice Report as an Example].

As we all know, we can modify the Format of address in "General Ledger Setup" but there is not any option for hiding Country Code. 

This is not a standard requirement though, just a clients demand...

I know that i can modify CodeUnit 365"Format Address" and make the change, since this is the requirement for all the reports the client prints. 

I also tried hiding the field in report design but its all Dynamic ARRAY. Has any one faced problem like this before...

    Hi,

    If you need it for all Reports then the suggestion will be to modify Format Address. 

    ** You cannot create a new function in Format address codeunit as you want to use for all reports.

    As far as Hiding the Array cell in RDLC that is also not possible because the array position is not fixed (hardcoded) it depends on General Ledger Setup & Currency in the Document.

    So the only suggested solution is to modify the Format address.

    As Saurav said, if the change need to be applied to all the formats, then easiest way is to modify the Format Address codeunit.

    Hi Saurav,

    I am working on the same logic... I just wanted to confirm if there is another easier way in system configuration.

    I have created a new option in General Ledger Setup and using this reference so that other options are still working. Since for Canadian clients they want normal but only some of the american one don't wan to see that extra field... -_-
