Production Environment not showing available next update as it is showing for sandbox

Production environment is not showing next available update, if we create a copy of production as sandbox then it shows available update.

We also have not received any email if there was an error in updating the environment or a schedule.

Is there any change the production environment gets updated or we need to follow some steps that we missed.

    As per my understanding you will have a update notifications automatically in all your environment

    In Production environment you will get the same, just wait for more sometime.

    If you have looked into the screen shot, you will notice production environment is behind as compared to sandbox. Usually there should be notification when there is any kind of delay in updating, which we have not received. For other tenant production is updated to 21.4 version.

    Do you have any kind of link or notification were it says there is delay in updating or any where I can check if there is issue in updating production.

    It is a common behavior for some environments to show a next update date much later than others. Sometimes it's a scenario like you're facing and sometimes it's the opposite. However, there is no official documentation that has come to my knowledge which speaks about this matter in particular. Doesn't matter how common this behavior is, I agree it's not right. I have often found such occurrences and the best we can do is wait & it then shows up rightly

    I'd suggest connect with Microsoft Support through your Partner of CSP channel, you screenshots sent to Microsoft can help them understand this erratic behavior. This seems to be a platform update scheduling bug for some localizations

    Hi, I have consulted Microsoft on this problem.
    The answer they gave was that the environment exists in different clusters, and the environment of the same cluster sends notifications at the same time, which has nothing to do with Tenant.

    Like Yun Zhu said, it is based on cluster. You just need to wait until it shows up.

    However, your Production is a few versions behind, so I would suggest you send a Microsoft Support ticket to check for your environment.
