I have run into some issues with inconsistent date formats within the GP web client. We are based in Australia, so are looking for dd/mm/yyyy rather than mm/dd/yyyy.
Some of the dates in GP are correct (the main date on the top of the client as well as the dates within lists) but it is in US format within windows (see screenshots below). This is web client only, the fat clients are showing the correct dates.
Initially all dates were in US format. First I updated the browser settings (Chrome), changing the language to Australian English instead of US English. This corrected the main date stamp on the top right hand corner as well as the list dates but the date within GP windows are still mm/dd/yyyy.
I have also checked the server settings and changed the language and regional settings to English (Australia). As I am testing on a demo box, the DB server is the same as the App server, and I was using Chrome on the box to take out any potential issues with client machines.
Just wondering if anyone else has come across this or has any ideas on how to fix?
