Scanning document directly into GP

Looking for assistance in setting up ability to scan documents from the Attach Document Window.

GP is installed in a TS environment and we have a scanner connected to a local workstation that remotes

into the server where GP resides.  We installed the WIA driver on the local workstation, but the Scan button

is not active.  Our IT will not install the WIA driver on the GP server because they claim that installing the

driver will cause the server to crash.

Anybody have experience with scanning in a TS environment?

why dont you just have the user scan the doc to workstation and then upload to the server and link using GP?
