Is it possible to update completed activity records?

Hi,

Is there anyway to update completed activities in the CRM? I have created a link to the call recordings through javascript, however once the users mark the activity complete I can not update the values within the record with the recording attachment (it takes a few seconds to sync).... 

 

Any solutions for this issue?

    Yes, update the activity with a Workflow instead of Javascript.

    I.E. Activity marked as completed, workflow fires up, opens the activity, updates it and marks as completed again.

    Makes sense?
