We are currently on SL7, will be upgrading soon and are looking for additional comments from users on interfacing a purchasing module...any recommendations that you have had success with?

    Do you need import data to purchase order 04.250.00 and receptions 04.010.00 screens using sql or what exactly do you need?.

    Actually we were just looking for recommendations /opinions from users, not really a specific question on screens. Is the purchasing module user friendly? How would you compare it to other purchasing software systems that integrate with SL?

    Hello Kcs,

    Are you looking to interface Purchasing module of Dynamics SL from a custom legacy application (windows or web application)? If yes, you can use the Solomon Object model to automate the transactions and create POs in SL which involves some rework in the legacy application.

    Project Work Order & Work Order Procurement modules of SKsoft interfaces with the Purchasing module, creates purchase orders. Both the modules are Project driven and I'm not sure if that is your need.

    Can you elaborate your current setup and your need and we might assist you better?
