Posted on by Microsoft Employee

> In record detail page, When I click on the form editor icon It opens top most form's editing page by default(Default solution) regardless of the selected form in drop down list in record.

Eg., I have selected Holiday in drop down list

Reference : When I click on Form editor icon, It opens top most form's(Which is Hotel in my example) editing page by default.

But my requirement is, form editor should open based on the selected form in drop down list of record. Please guys let me know the way to achieve this functionality.

Regards,

Swathi.

    Hi All,

    Thanks for your reply..

    Now I understood the OOB functionality. Is there any possible customization available to achieve my requirement.

    Hi Swathi,

    It is an OOB functionality. The first form in the Form Order (Main Form Set) will be displayed on clicking the Form Editor in the command bar.

    To change the form order, go to Customisation --> Entities --> Forms.

    Click on the drop-down Form Order and select Main Form Set.

    You can change the order of the forms here.

    Whichever form appears first in form order will be displayed in Form Editor.

    It is default behaviour in OOB, if you want the specific form open in editor you should goto

    Solutions->Entity->Forms -> specific form name
