EFT Output issue with Decimal Amount

I am trying to create an EFT output format.  I have almost all fields working the way I need them to except that the Amount does not output correctly when the amount has .00 for the cents.  The bank format requires that the cents always be included (without the decimal) even when it is 00.  For example, when I pay $100.00, I need the amount to be 10000 but it is outputting only 100, which would cause the bank to pay $1.00.  How can I force the cents to always be included?

Here is the information

I create the Payment journal for the supplier for an amount of $100.00

The remittance correctly shows the 100.00

When I generate the EFT file it shows 100 instead of 10000

However, if I create a payment for the same vendor for $100.99

The remittance still shows the correct amount

And the Generate EDT file format correctly generates the Amount as 10099

RE: EFT Output issue with Decimal Amount

    Hi

I can't give you an answer to this except to say that I was experiencing the same thing.  However, as I needed a CSV output, and the CSV output using data exchange put speech marks around every field, I couldn't use it.

And I also found fields lacking - I couldn't access all the different fields on the Vendor Bank Setup that I needed.

So instead, we used Power Automate (Flow) to call the information from BC and output to the format we wanted.  I needed a developer involved, but once set up, seems to be working fine.

    Cheers

    Heather

Did you ever find out what was causing this issue and how to correct it?  I am having the same issue. Thanks

    Brian,

Sorry did not see this earlier. Can you please send me bigger pictures of the Data Exchange Definition. Or you can export and attach so I can see.

    Thanks,

    Steve

I did get this figured out and I went back and looked and I cant specifically remember but...

I believe I just made sure that the Text Padding required was checked on for the field and that there was a 0 character in the Pad character field

I think in my case I was forgetting to put the 0 character in the Pad character field so it was padding with blank5037.pic.png

I exported the XML file and reimported the file.  Once I did this, I made the decimal changes for the decimal, i.e., show 10000 for 100.00, and show 10013 for 100.13.  It was weird, but that worked.

You need to go to the footer field mapping and set the multiplier to 100 for the debit and credit totals for the footers. That column may be hidden by default, so you may have to personalize to make it visible.
