There are loads of Email signature management solutions built to work with Outlook. Like, keep track of the users email-signatures from one place.
To give our Dynamics customers the same option in Dynamics we have been using a third party solution. This solution support both logo files, it is easy to manage hyperlinks, and supports workflows.
The way this solution works is that signature is made in Word. The file is uploaded to Dynamics in the solution, which connects the specific user to each signature file.
In Dynamics the solution provides a list over users, which we can download the files for editing.
The good things about this solution is that our customers admin has one place only where to keep and manage the signatures.
The reason why I am looking for alternatives is that we have been having some issues with our solution lately, and the provider seems to not have this solution as a priority anymore.
Improvements to our existing solution could be having one place only to change the logo files in all signatures. Now our customer have to go into each users word file to make such changes. Support to retrieve user data from AD could be another improvement. And probably more :)
