We are upgrading to CRM 2016 from CRM 2013 and are running CRM 2016 in a test environment right now.
For some reason the Contract and Contract Line fields are locked when I try to create a new case.
The fields get unlocked when I save the case. But in CRM 2013 we were able to specifiy contract and contract lines during case creation time.
This works fine when using Quick Create form just when using the regular case form.

It is not set to read-only:
Please help. This is very urgent, we plan to do the upgrade very soon.
