How to enable an "obsolete" entity

We would like to try out the first version of Customer entity as Customer entity V3 has custom sequence hence not allowed to have more than one task defined to improve performance.  But first version of Customer entity is marked as Obsolete and hence cannot be selected.  It doesn't seem create extension of that entity can let you override "IsObsolete" property.  I am wondering is there any way to re-enable entities that is current marked as "Obsolete"?

I have the same question (0)

You can not  do anything for the ones which are marked obsolete  but you can always duplicate the entity , do the changes you want to do and use it.

    Hi Yvonne,

You can add obsolete entities to the data project:

    1. You can just type the name of the entity (Customers) in lookup under "Add entity" button (don't select it manually from lookup)

    2. You can add it through "Add multiple" (here it's visible for lookup)

But don't use it for any production activities (it could contain bugs) and for integrations (it can be removed soon).

If you think that some useful features are missing try to create MS support ticket first.

One of the possibility to skip validation for Customer entity V3 which can help to improve performance.

Do you need good performance for one time data migration or are you integrating huge customer volumes all the time? For one time task you can use less sustainable solutions (such as using the obsolete entity directly with the trick mentioned above), but if it's used in daily operations, a bit more thought should be put in the solution.
