Hi,
We have a workflow to send emails when cases are opened and closed. The email gets sent to the contact. However if the contacts email preferences says "Do not allow" for Email, the email does not get sent even if this rule is not applied on the workflow. In system jobs, it goes to a waiting state. I have been told this is a OOB functionality. The Email preferences is used by our Marketing department to not send advertising emails, but our IT support would still like to send these notifications to keep the contact in the loop about cases.
Is there any way around this??
