Error when trying to merge 2 contacts

Hello everyone. Dynamics 365 error when merging 2 contacts - only started this week (we have been merging successfully, the same way, for years).
By the way, I am doing this via advanced find (on email) - I have just noticed that if I do it via an active contacts view it works ok, but the "advanced find" way is the way that always used to work for me.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Much appreciated. Thanks.
