    RE: New User Access

Thanks Mike, but I tried this scenario before and it still didn't work. I'll give it another try and let you know what happen. Maybe I didn't follow the correct delete process. Here is how I deleted the user:

Open SQL Server - Go to Security-->Login-->Right Click on User---->Delete User

    Thank you for your help!

    RE: New User Access

I have experienced similar issue (in GP 2016) for even adding a regular user, who could not work properly. I found it odd and simply removing the user and recreating it resolved the case. I have been able to reproduce this scenario over and over.

It seems some glitches during user creation causes the problem.

I call it as common phenomenon of Microsoft, (if Microsoft does not work, restart it, it will work)

I am able to pull down data using sa user.  Other power users in the office are able to pull data running the same reports.

Try to run the report using sa user.Because Power User does not have all rights in GP as SA does. Please try and let me know.

Yes, these reports are within GP and they are the Financial Reports.

Also, this user is accessing GP via remote desktop to the GP server. Other end users, using client based and Remote desktop connection with power user access are able to pull down data in the reports.

    Thank you.

    Leon,

Could you elaborate on which reports the user is having trouble with? If it is reports within GP I suspect the user is not set to use the correct report dictionary.

I deleted and recreated the user as you suggested and it did not work. I still cannot pull data to the financial reports. Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance for you help.
