Do you have any good suggestions for testing a Customer Journey and segment when there is live/actual data in the system? The test should be able to pull in the correct contacts as part of the Segment, and conduct the Customer Journey.
One thought to accomplish the above was to inactivate all the “actual” contacts, but there isn’t a quick “Mass Update” feature in Dynamics is there?
- One concern I have with the inactivating contacts as a way for them not to receive an email is that I'm not 100% sure that emails can't be sent to inactive contacts. I did a search and found that we shouldn't send to inactive contacts (docs.microsoft.com/.../get-ready-email-marketing), which makes me think that is possible for an inactive contact to receive an email.
