Dear all,
I am having a requirement to enable/disable menu on setting a toggle button to yes which is in parameter table. Can we achieve this?
or
If we cannot achieve this, Can we display a message saying that ON the parameter to access this menu?
Please help me,
Regards,
Ajay
Hi Ajay,
Menus cannot be enabled or disabled through code. Instead, you can restrict them by adding warning messages in the init method of all the forms in the menu.
Thanks,
Girish S.
Hi Ajay, Please check this article and see if you can leverage it. This was published for AX 2012 so not sure feasibility with D365 F&O and even if feasible, is it recommend or not.

Hi Girish thanks for your reply.
I am new to D365 f and o development. Correct me if I am wrong, If I do this the Form will open with warning messages and all the fields in the form will be displayed. Am I correct .
.
Thanks.
Thanks for your reply Mohit Rampal.
I'll go through the above mentioned link.
No form wont display - It will only display the warning message. Fields inside the form won't be shown.
If the Parameter is Yes, you can throw error inside the init method of the form.
Ok, Thank you Girish.
