    Hi Ajay,

Menus cannot be enabled or disabled through code. Instead, you can restrict them by adding warning messages in the init method of all the forms in the menu.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

Hi Ajay, Please check this article and see if you can leverage it. This was published for AX 2012 so not sure feasibility with D365 F&O and even if feasible, is it recommend or not.

Hi Girish thanks for your reply.

I am new to D365 f and o development. Correct me if I am wrong, If I do this the Form will open with warning messages and all the fields in the form will be displayed. Am I correct .

    Thanks.

No form wont display - It will only display the warning message. Fields inside the form won't be shown.

If the Parameter is Yes, you can throw error inside the init method of the form.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.
