Cant Mail Merge when CRM Opportunity is "Closed"

We have CRM 2016, mail merge works great when an "opportunity" is open. But once we closed the opportunity we cannot "Mail Merge" anymore. The "Mail Merge" button goes away on the top bar. Is there a way to re-enable that?

    Use the Ribbon Workbench in the XRM Toolbox to update the Closed record ribbon to still show the Mail Merge button.
