HI Guys

Greetings

I want to see the calculation of withholding tax in a vendor invoice.

I have used the following link to configure withholding tax

And then I have switched on "Estimate withholding tax amount on invoice" under Tax> setup >General ledger parameters >>> withholding tax tab

But still when I go to Accounts Payable > Pending vendor invoice and create an invoice there, I don't see the estimate there.

Please help

with regards
Naushad

    Hi Naushad,
Can you please post your Withholding tax setup and how you configured it with Vendor Master,

Because by the looks of it seems like a configuration issue,

I will be able to confirm once you have posted,

    Thanks,
    Zain

    Dear Zain

I also thought that and then I did the payment process of the invoice that is accurately calculated and posted the withholding tax.

    with regards

In addition to the above settings, I needed to switch on both:

Withholding tax calculation for the respective vendor and for the respective Item.

    Then it worked

    Hi Naushad

After seeing your question, i think you want to see the WHT calculation on vendor invoice before posting. If right then please try it-

Go to Accounts payable-Invoices-Pending vendor invoices. Fill the invoice details. Make sure that you have entered the WHT group on that vendor.

After adding the invoice details, save the details and click on Financials on top of the page. Now click on view accounting. Here you can see the WHT calculation on your invoice before posting it.

please let me know if it clears your issue or not.

    Thanks
    Deepak
