(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

Hello,

I have configured SSRS on port 80 but if i open the url it brings blank page.

I also noticed that on IIS there is a website on port 80.

How can i change the port number for SSRS  or can i go ahead and use port 80 like that?

Please i need help on how to resolve this issue.

Thank you.

    Hi,

Go to the Reporting Services Configuration manager to change the Port Number. Under the Web Service URL click "Advanced" to change the port.

FUNMILAYO,  What happens when you try accessing the Reportserver and Reportmanager URL in the browser?  Did you try logging with administrator?

Can you share us the report manager and web service url?

You can use port 80 as the default SSRS report provided you have no other web service on the box that uses that port.  SSRS doesn't really use the IIS interface as it has an internal mechanism to do this.  One thing you didn't mention is if your report server is Native Mode or SharePoint mode.  Another question I'd start with is your reporting service installed as a default instance or a named instance?

    1. Can you get to your report manager url? yourreportserver/reports

    2. When you open the Report Server Configuration page is the service Running or Stopped?  If you've made changes to any of the settings here you need to Stop & Start the service.

3.Have you made any changes on the IIS side of things?  If so can you revert them back and see if that works?

Have you deployed any reports in SSRS? If not, please have a look on the below link to deploy the reports to SSRS and click the above links to run deployed reports in browser.

@FUNMILAYO Can you share the screenshot of the Reporting Tool Setup window? (Administration >> Setup >> System >> Reporting Tools Setup
